The TF35 Trophy is proud to announce its partnership with OMEGA as the Official Timekeeper for the tour.
The prestigious Swiss watch brand has a long legacy as a passionate supporter of sailing, having backed Emirates Team New Zealand and Alinghi, and timed historic events such as the America's Cup. In the new TF35 Trophy, launching this weekend on Lake Geneva, the competition will welcome OMEGA’s acclaimed precision, dedication, and innovation.
The cutting-edge design of the TF35 is pushing the boundaries of hydro-foiling technology. The fully automatic flight control system allows for smooth, precise foiling both upwind and downwind, opening up the world of high-speed foil racing to a wider audience of sailors.
OMEGA President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann said: "We have a proud sailing history at OMEGA and discovered the TF35 Trophy through our partnership with Alinghi. The innovation of the TF35 speaks to our pursuit of excellence, and we can't wait to support the Trophy with our renowned timekeeping.”
Class Manager Bertrand Favre adds: "It is a privilege to be partnering with OMEGA. We have seen the brand flying on the AC75's in New Zealand all winter, so it will be an honour to fly OMEGA on the TF35s across Europe for the 2021 season and into the future."
The announcement of OMEGA's partnership marks the start of the TF35 Trophy's inaugural season which will take place over seven regattas this summer.
